VAUDRENNES CARP FISHING LAKE

Set in the heart of the Mayenne countryside, this secluded private carp fishing lake is owned and run by Roger and Sandra. Two friendly, down-to-earth expats, they have lived here for four years and, in that time, have drained, cleaned and completely re-stocked the lake with mirror, common and linear carp as well as roach and perch. So far this year mirror of 30lbs plus and common of 25lbs plus have been caught.

Fishing platforms are spaced out along the bank of the stream-fed lake and a BBQ is available for your use. The lakeside chalet has been recently renovated and provides toilet and shower facilities and a kitchen area. There is off-road parking a couple of minutes walk from the lake itself.

Prices

Day tickets:

15 euros per day for 2 rods, 20 euros per day for 3 rods
Fishing is from dawn to dusk
(Weekly rates available on application)

Airport pickup from Dinard or Rennes can be arranged
Mid-day packed lunch delivery if required at 8 euros per person

Maximum number of anglers is 4.

Rules

                1.        Maximum of 3 rods per angler, not to be left unattended
                2.        No keep nets
                3.        Bait boats are allowed
                4.        No tiger nuts
                5.        Barbless or micobarbed hooks only
                6.        No swimming
                7.        Quiet radios are allowed

Bait can be supplied by the owner if prior notice is given
